Responsibility details are not available.
This figure from the manufacturer MAiM captures a nude civilian figure with an incendiary bottle in hand. It is a strong, dramatic subject which, being a nude, is intended for adult collectors and diorama builders. The figure is supplied as an unpainted casting to be cleaned up and painted.
The figure is designed as the dominant narrative element of a modern or post-apocalyptic scene. In 1:16 scale every detail of the anatomy and of the pose stands out, so give the figure plenty of room in the composition; it works best as the central point to which the other elements of the diorama relate, whether that is street furniture, rubble or other figures in the same scale.
After washing and cleaning the casting up, apply a primer. On a nude the painting of the skin is the key: work with layered acrylic tones and fine oil glazes, which create natural transitions of shadow and light across a large area. The incendiary bottle can be treated with gloss clear for the impression of glass and given a hint of liquid inside; the contrast between matte skin and glossy glass will benefit the figure. Finally fix everything with a matte clear coat, leaving the gloss on the bottle alone.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is intended for adults. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
