A resin set of modern US Army water tanks in two types, 1:16 scale — an accessory for loading a vehicle and for a diorama, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin castings of the water containers used by modern American units, according to the name in two types. They do not serve for building a vehicle — they are equipment that is strapped onto baskets, lashed to platforms and placed into dioramas.
Water is as important to modern units as fuel and its containers look different from diesel jerrycans: a different shape, a different lid, different necks, usually a light color and a rougher plastic surface. Two types in the set mean you can load a vehicle with variety rather than twice with the same thing — and it is precisely the variety of loaded material that makes a scene believable. In 1:16 scale a container is the size of a matchbox, so the ribs of the shell and the shape of the handle stand out, but at the same time nothing can be fudged: every mark of the mold shows.
Wash the castings in warm water with detergent, otherwise a primer will not hold on them. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife and level the surfaces so that the containers stand straight on a base. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). On light-colored plastic it pays to spray a primer and to paint with an airbrush, then to finish the result with fine edge highlighting and a light deposit of dust in the recesses.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the vehicle are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
