An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese heavy truck Hino Super Dolphin in the dump truck version in 1:24 scale from the company Fujimi. The kit is richly detailed: it holds a complete engine, a tipping dump body, a worked-out chassis with axles and a driveshaft, a quantity of chrome-plated parts (the grille, the bumpers, the ladders), clear parts for the lights and the windows and rubber tires. The cab tilts up and reveals the engine.
The Hino Super Dolphin is a line of heavy trucks from the Japanese make Hino of the 1980s. The dump truck version serves for construction and haulage work; its characteristic features are the boxy cab and the sturdy chassis.
Given the number of parts, we recommend building the chassis and the engine before closing the cab. Glue the chrome-plated parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), spray the cab with an airbrush and use a gloss clear coat for a faithful look. Assemble the tipping mechanism and the tilting cab carefully so that they stay movable.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
