An injection-molded plastic kit of the Toyota Crown Athlete of the GRS214 generation in 1:24 scale from the Japanese company Aoshima. The model captures an elegant luxury sedan that is often modified in the Japanese VIP style. The parts are injection-molded in several colors, and chrome-plated and clear parts, aluminum wheel rims with low-profile tires and painting masks for the window frames are included.
The Toyota Crown of the GRS214 series belongs to the thirteenth generation of this traditional Japanese luxury sedan. The Athlete version is the more sporting variant, and among tuners it is a sought-after basis for low-slung VIP conversions with large wheels.
Glue the joints of the plastic with liquid modeling cement; it is a good idea to reinforce the small glued areas of the bumpers from the inside. Fill the body and spray it with an airbrush, and for a presentable gloss use a gloss clear coat and polishing. The enclosed painting masks make the window frames easier.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
