This detail set from AML refines the landing gear bays in the wing on models of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but a set of resin parts that replaces the simplified plastic bays with accurate castings with a faithful structure.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190A, nicknamed Würger (the shrike), was a German fighter with a BMW 801 radial engine and a feared opponent of Allied fighters. The landing gear bays with their visible internal structure are among the places where a detailed casting greatly improves the view of a model from below.
Wash the resin parts free of the mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, and sanding should be done with respiratory protection. Paint the bays, bring them out and fit them before closing the lower part of the wing.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The glue, the paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
