A resin set representing American 76 mm tank ammunition of the Second World War - cartridge cases with projectiles and extras for filling out a scene. It is not a vehicle model but a detailed accessory for dioramas, interiors and vignettes in 1:35 scale.
The American 76 mm gun (M1) was fitted during the war into upgraded versions of the Sherman medium tank and into tank destroyers; its ammunition, with a higher muzzle velocity, improved the armor-piercing effect. The set serves to add cartridge cases and projectiles convincingly beside the gun or around a vehicle.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The metallic shades of the brass and the paint on the projectiles come out well once a base coat has been sprayed.
This is a supplementary set, not a complete model. Neither a vehicle nor a gun is included in the package.
