A set of masking stencils for painting a model of the T-15 armored vehicle in 1:35 scale. The extent of the stencils is given in the instructions of the manufacturer.
Responsibility details are not available.
The T-15 is a Russian heavy infantry fighting vehicle built on the Armata chassis, that is, on the same platform as the T-14 tank. Its engine is moved forward, so that room arises at the back for the dismounts, which gives the vehicle an unusual silhouette with a tall rear. It is precisely the sharp transitions on the turret and on the sides that are the places where masking by hand with tape holds worst.
This is a set of masking stencils for painting a model in 1:35 scale. The stencils are cut to shape beforehand, so trimming along a ruler falls away and the edge comes out the same on both sides of the vehicle. The material of the stencils, their number and their exact placement are given in the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer, which are also the guide to the order of the individual shades.
Stick the stencils to a finished, dry and degreased surface before spraying. Press the edges down carefully, so that paint does not run under them, and help yourself with a wooden toothpick at broken places. Apply the paint in several thin coats and spray at a right angle to the edge of the mask, not at a slant under it. Take the mask off soon after the paint has dried, while the coat is flexible, and pull it slowly at an angle to the surface. Any adhesive residue on the finish can be removed carefully with an ink eraser.
This is an accessory for a build, not a kit of the vehicle. Paints, glue and a model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
