Responsibility details are not available.
This 1:400 scale kit captures a small missile corvette of the Tarantul class (Project 1241) in the Tarantul II form. It is an injection-molded plastic model from the Polish brand Mirage Hobby; the box holds plastic parts and a decal sheet. The compact ship makes a rewarding piece for the display case.
The Tarantul class (Project 1241) were fast missile corvettes of Soviet design, built to fight surface targets with anti-ship guided missiles. Small, fast and heavily armed, these craft served with the Soviet Navy and with a number of others. The Tarantul II form ranks among the development variants of this successful class.
You can build the hull whole or as a waterline model; decide in advance how you will display it. Glue the superstructure and the missile containers and fill the joints. In a small scale choose thin coats of paint from the airbrush and bring the deck details out with a wash. Railings and fine elements can be added from aftermarket photo-etch. Lay the decals on a varnished base and put the ship on a stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
