Eduard 1:48 Boeing CH-47A Chinook rear ramp details is a photo-etched set aimed at the details of the rear cargo ramp. It is an accessory to a model, not a kit.

A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech maker Eduard for a model of the CH-47A transport helicopter in 1:48 scale, aimed according to the name at the details of the rear cargo ramp. On this machine the ramp is a large area full of sheet-metal elements, stiffeners and tie-downs, which cannot be made in a corresponding thickness in injection-molded plastic. Photo-etched sheet is therefore in its element here. The plastic model is not included in the package.
The CH-47A was the first production version of the transport helicopter with two lifting rotors arranged one behind the other, driven by a pair of turboshaft engines mounted on the sides of the rear pylon. The fuselage has the shape of a long box with a flat floor and a hinged cargo ramp at the rear, which makes it possible to load cargo and vehicles straight from the ground. The ramp can also be held in a partly open position in flight — on a model it is therefore rewarding to leave it lowered and show the inside of the cargo compartment.
Decide in advance whether the ramp will be open; otherwise the set loses most of its point. Separate the parts with a scalpel and sand the edges back with a fine file after the tabs. Bend longer stiffeners in a bender in sections, so that the sheet does not twist. Degrease before gluing and use cyanoacrylate glue applied by drops with a pin — a surplus is hard to remove on a large area. Sand the molded plastic imitations of the same elements away first, so that the new part seats on a flat surface. Once they are glued on, apply a primer for metals; dust and oil effects, which characterize this part of the machine in practice, will then catch nicely in the structure of the ramp.
