This is not a kit of the aircraft but a detail set for fitting out the cockpit of a model of the De Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth in 1:48 scale. It replaces the simplified parts of the base kit with a truer interior for both open cockpits. The set is made for the Airfix kit.
The De Havilland DH-82 Tiger Moth was a British training biplane of the 1930s on which thousands of pilots of the Royal Air Force and other air forces went through their training during the Second World War. The open cockpits with their clearly visible interior make a well worked-out cockpit a prominent feature of a model.
Wash the cast parts to remove any mold release agent and separate them carefully from the casting blocks; glue the fine photo-etched parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is advisable to paint the interior and bring it out with a wash before the fuselage is closed up. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
