This is not a model but a resin correction set. It replaces the tail surface of the Fw 190D model with a precisely cast resin part, which corrects the profile and outline of the tail where the plastic model does not match the real subject. It is a targeted improvement for a faithful silhouette of the long-nosed version.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190D (nicknamed Dora) was a high-altitude fighter of the end of the Second World War with a lengthened fuselage and a Jumo 213 V engine. The lengthening of the fuselage and the shape of the tail surfaces give the aircraft its typical slim silhouette, which this set brings into the correct form.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces with breathing protection. Before gluing with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), check the fit at the point of the cut dry. Fill and sand the transitions on the fuselage.
This is an accessory for a model, not a standalone kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
