An Aber 1:48 photo-etched detail set for the Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf.L is a group of brass parts with which you refine a plastic model of the medium tank. It is not a model but an accessory to the build.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of photo-etched brass parts from the Polish maker Aber in 1:48 scale. The set serves to refine a plastic model of the German Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf.L medium tank and replaces or adds to the coarser plastic fittings with thin, faithfully etched parts. On its own it is not a kit of the tank but an accessory meant to complete one.
The Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf.L was a production version from 1942. It was armed with the long 5 cm KwK 39 L/60 gun and carried additional armor plates on the front of the hull and on the turret mantlet. It was among the most widespread German tanks on the Eastern Front and in North Africa.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife or with special photo-etch scissors on a hard mat. Precise bends are best managed with a photo-etch bending tool. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue or two-part epoxy; degrease the brass before painting and treat it with a base coat (primer) so that the paint holds well. The set is better suited to more experienced modelers.
This is an accessory, not the model itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
