The decal sheet 1:48 He 219 A-02 (V-9) G9+FB from the manufacturer OWL with the markings of an early test machine of the night fighter Heinkel He 219. It is an accessory for building a model, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of decals in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer OWL, devoted to one of the early machines of the Heinkel He 219 type, which the name designates as a prototype machine and by its fuselage code at the same time. The sheet is therefore aimed at a precisely identified aircraft, not at general markings for the series.
The He 219 was a twin-engine night fighter aircraft with a crew of two and nose landing gear. The early machines served for testing and for the first operational evaluation, so they differed from the later batches in their equipment and in details of the airframe. That is precisely why they tend to be a popular subject, but at the same time they call for careful verification of whether a given model corresponds to the early look of the type.
The fuselage codes in this scale are large and reach across panel lines and access covers, so settle them on a damp area with a brush and draw the surplus water off from the center outward. The surface has to be glossy. Use the softener only once the position has been trued up, otherwise the decal will take hold crooked. Finally unify the area with matte varnish and only then deal with the shades of the panels and the weathering.
This is not a kit but a decal sheet. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
