A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for refining the exterior of the model of the Russian two-seat multirole fighter Su-30M2 Flanker in 1:48 scale. The photo-etched metal parts fill out thin exterior elements such as panels, grilles, blanking plates and reinforcing plates, which injection-molded plastic cannot render faithfully. It is not a model of an airplane but a detail accessory; the basic kit has to be bought separately.
The Sukhoi Su-30 Flanker is a Russian two-seat twin-engine multirole fighter derived from the Su-27 family. The Su-30M2 version served with the Russian Air Force and combines combat and training use. It is marked by the large areas of its wings and fuselage with a great many panels and sensors.
Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife and clean up the cut faces. Use a bending tool or a straight edge for the bends. Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and degrease the surfaces before the clear coat.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
