Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the manufacturer Kovozavody Prostejov in 1:72 scale, made from modern new tooling. The package contains a decal sheet. It is a short-run kit, which will be appreciated rather by more advanced modelers with experience of careful fitting and fine parts.
The Boeing P-26 Peashooter was an American fighter of the first half of the 1930s and one of the first all-metal production monoplane fighters of the US Army Air Corps. It was characterized by an open cockpit, fixed (non-retracting) landing gear, wire bracing of the wings and a Pratt & Whitney radial engine. It represented a transitional stage between biplanes and modern fighters and, besides the USA, it served in other countries as well.
With short-run kits, clean up the molding edges and dry-fit the parts before gluing. Glue the plastic with a thinner modeling cement. A characteristic feature of the real aircraft is the wire bracing of the wings, which can be added with stretched fiber (rigging) to strengthen the impression. Apply a primer before painting, an airbrush is ideal, followed by fine picking out of details and weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
