A resin set of replacement landing gear wheels from the Pavla brand in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from a base kit of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the late G and K versions. The castings tend to have a faithful tire tread pattern and a well-drawn rim.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was a German single-engine fighter of the Second World War. The late G (Gustav) and K (Kurfürst) versions were among the most capable and most widespread series; compared with the earlier forms they differed in the size and execution of the main landing gear wheels as well.
Wash the wheels free of release agent, cut off the casting block and true the mating face. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the tire in a matte dark gray and the rim according to the scheme you choose; sand any flattening where it meets the ground gently. Work with your airways protected.
This is an accessory in resin; the plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
