Eduard 1:48 Yak-3 landing flaps — photo-etched set is a photo-etched detail set of lowered landing flaps for the model of the Soviet Yak-3 fighter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched brass set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a modeling accessory: parts for a faithful rendition of the landing flaps in the lowered position, including the inner structure that plastic parts simplify. Lowered flaps give the model a lively look.
The Yakovlev Yak-3 was a Soviet single-engine fighter of the Second World War period, valued for its low weight, its agility and its performance at low and medium altitudes. It was among the most effective fighters of the Eastern Front.
Separate the photo-etched brass parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife, form the bends in a bending tool or with a ruler and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Clean the surfaces before gluing and roughen them lightly for better grip. Put the flaps together only once the recess in the wing has been cleaned out; match the lowered angle to real photographs.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
