The stencils bound the individual fields of the pattern, so hard and precisely repeatable transitions can be sprayed without drawing the boundaries by hand and without tedious trimming of tape.
Mi-35 is the export designation of the modernized line of attack helicopters derived from the Mi-24 type. The machine combines the attack role with the ability to carry troops in the rear cabin, has a characteristic two-seat cockpit with stepped canopies and short wings with pylons. The camouflage of these helicopters tends to be formed by several large fields with sharp boundaries, which is exactly the situation where stencils pay off.
