An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat Skyhawk in 1:72 scale. It is a reboxing of the proven Fujimi tooling that Hobby 2000 has completed with a quality decal sheet from the Cartograf printer and with spray masks for the glazing. In the box you will find plastic parts for one model, decals and masking film; paints and glue are not included.
The OA-4M was a two-seat observation and control aircraft of the US Marine Corps derived from the TA-4F trainer version. It served as a forward air controller (FAC) linking the Marine ground units with air support. It kept the squared-off rear with revised avionics and the characteristic two-seat cockpit with a lengthened canopy.
Bond the parts with a thin plastic cement and sand down the fuselage joints and the leading edges of the wings. Apply a gloss clear coat before the decals so that the markings settle without silvering; a flat top coat evens the surface out. Mask the canopy glazing with the enclosed masks and spray with an airbrush for clean edges.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
