Martin-Baker is a British maker of ejection seats, which are fitted to fighter and training aircraft all over the world. A faithfully cast seat with raised straps, handles and mechanism lifts the look of an open cockpit considerably, which is where the detail shows most.
Wash the part to remove any residue of the mold release agent, cut the casting block off and clean it up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; bring out the straps and the handles with a dry brush or a wash. Protect your breathing when sanding resin.
