Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the American carrier fighter Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer Arma Hobby. The model is among the modern, very finely executed Wildcat kits in this scale and offers decals for several machines from the fighting in the Pacific.
The F4F-4 was the version of the Wildcat that was the first to receive folding wings to save space on carrier decks, and an extended armament of six machine guns. The Wildcat bore the weight of the first hard fighting of the US Navy in the Pacific in 1942, including the battles of Midway and Guadalcanal.
Glue the plastic with liquid cement, and the fine parts call for care. Apply a primer before spraying and use an airbrush. The typical three-color naval schemes of 1942 come out well with gentle panel highlighting and moderate wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
