A plastic kit of the Japanese medium truck Hino Ranger from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi, worked out in 1:32 scale from the range devoted to trucks. The model offers an unusual look into the world of Japanese commercial vehicles, which appear in European collections only rarely.
The Hino Ranger is a range of medium trucks from the Japanese brand Hino, a traditional maker of commercial vehicles. Ranger vehicles serve all over Japan and abroad in delivery and construction transport, from flatbeds through dump trucks to special bodies. They are characterized by a cab-over-engine cab, a sturdy frame and a practical design, thanks to which they are among the typical machines of Japanese roads.
With a truck it pays to proceed by assemblies: first the frame with the axles, then the cab and the body. Spray the cab in a glossy shade over a smooth base and polish it; the contrast will come from matte black wheel arches and the frame. Glue the glazing of the cab with a glue that will not fog clear parts. Light dusting of the chassis with pigments will give the vehicle a believable look of service, but Japanese trucks tend to be well kept, so go easy on the patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
