The FWD Model B three-ton truck is a plastic kit of an American truck of the First World War period in 1:72 scale from Roden.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from the Ukrainian maker Roden captures the American FWD Model B truck with four-wheel drive. The set contains finely shaped plastic parts, a detailed chassis, decals and illustrated instructions.
The FWD Model B was an American truck with drive to all four wheels and a payload of three tons, built by the Four Wheel Drive Auto Company. The vehicle was used on a large scale during the First World War to move supplies and to tow guns, and it was one of the pioneers of the cab-over-engine layout.
Assemble the small parts of the chassis and the wheels patiently and use a thin cement for plastic. In a small scale, take care that the joints are clean. Airbrush painting in a single shade followed by a wash and a dry brush to bring out the rivets and the planked bed works well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
