A mask set in 1:72 scale for the Northrop A-17 and its variants.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Northrop A-17 was a single-engined American ground-attack aircraft of the mid-1930s, an all-metal low-wing monoplane derived from earlier machines by the same maker. It served with the US Army Air Corps and in several versions abroad as well; the individual variants differed from one another enough that modeling sets often cover them together. The word family in the name refers to precisely this group of variants.
This is a mask set in 1:72 scale, that is an accessory for aircraft models. Which areas the set covers and which kit the cut is built for are stated on the box and in the enclosed instructions; the masks are cut to the shape of a particular model. Go through them before you start spraying.
The masks are applied to a clean, dry surface before spraying, never onto paint that has already dried. Clear the area of dust and grease beforehand. Press the edges of the mask down with a blunt toothpick so that paint cannot seep under them. Spray in thin coats; a heavy coat creates a step at the edge. Take the mask off while the paint has only just dried, not after a longer time, when it comes away less easily.
It suits modelers who want sharp transitions without laborious hand-brushing of the outlines, and anyone who does not fancy cutting masks out of tape. It is an accessory for models; paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise, and what exactly the package holds should be checked against the details on the box.
