Eduard 1:72 Sea King AEW.2 (equipment) is a set of color photo-etched parts for raising the detail of a plastic kit of the British early warning helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of color photo-etched parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard aimed at the external and additional equipment. It is not a helicopter model but an accessory for raising the detail of a plastic kit of the British Sea King AEW.2 helicopter in 1:72 scale. The metal parts supply small elements that are hard to mold in injection plastic.
The Westland Sea King AEW.2 was a British airborne early warning helicopter derived from the anti-submarine Sea King. Its characteristic feature was a rotating radar in an inflatable radome on the side of the fuselage. The helicopter served with the Royal Navy for radar patrol of the airspace around a group of ships.
The color photo-etched parts are printed at the factory in part, so a large share of the painting falls away. Separate the parts from the fret, bend them over a sharp edge and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Tweezers will seat the small parts more accurately.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
