Paper masks for the landing gear bays of a Yak-1B model in 1:72 scale, according to the product name for Arma Hobby kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Yak-1B was a Soviet single-engine fighter of the Second World War, powered by the Klimov M-105 V12 engine. The version designated B was given a cut-down rear fuselage and a teardrop canopy, so that the pilot's view to the rear improved. The masks are intended for models in 1:72 scale and, according to the product name, aim at Arma Hobby kits.
Paper masks for the landing gear bays. They are fitted into the open bays and close them for the time of spraying, so that neither paint nor mist drifting off the surrounding areas can get inside. The paper can be pressed against the outline of the bay, and once the coat is finished it is taken out of the model again.
The mask belongs in the model before spraying, that is before the primer and the top color come into play. Finish and paint the bays first, therefore, and only then close them up. Check that the mask beds against the edge all the way round: paint will pass inside through a narrow gap, and an oversprayed bay is difficult to put right. Once the last coat has dried, lift the mask out with tweezers so that the edge of the bay does not suffer. The paper will take careful reshaping if the bay in a particular kit lines up differently.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
