Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the vertical take-off Harrier GR.3 aircraft from the manufacturer Mark I in 1:144 scale. The issue with the subtitle Operation Corporate refers to the code name of the British operation to liberate the Falkland Islands in 1982, during which the GR.3 machines of the Royal Air Force operated in the South Atlantic. The compact model is an ideal choice for collectors of modern British aviation.
The Harrier GR.3 was the improved ground-attack version of the first generation Harrier, recognizable by its lengthened nose with a laser designator. During the Falklands conflict in 1982 the GR.3 machines were deployed to attack ground targets, operated from the deck of an aircraft carrier as well and complemented the naval Sea Harriers, which concentrated on the air defense of the task force. The deployment confirmed the extraordinary operational flexibility of aircraft with vertical take-off.
Separate the small parts of 1:144 scale with sharp cutters and fit them with tweezers. Painting can be managed with a brush, but an airbrush in thin coats gives a smoother result; mask the camouflage out with masking putty or narrow tapes. A fine dark wash will liven the engraved lines up, and restrained drybrushing will suggest wear from use. At the end even the model up with a semi-matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
