Responsibility details are not available.
The set from Mark I brings, in the small 1:144 scale, an injection-molded plastic kit of the export version of the American Curtiss Hawk fighter, designated H-75 and in British service Mohawk. The model concentrates on machines in French and British service. A sheet of waterslide decals with marking options is included. Take the exact package contents from the instructions enclosed.
The Curtiss H-75 was the export version of the American Model 75, that is the sibling of the Army P-36. The French Air Force committed these machines in the fighting of 1940, where they were among the most active French fighters. After the fall of France some of the aircraft were taken over by the Royal Air Force and its subordinate formations, where they served under the name Mohawk, among other places on the Asian fronts. It was an agile single-seat low-wing monoplane with a radial engine which in the early stages of the war could hold its own against more modern opponents.
In 1:144 scale work with a sharp knife and a fine file and clean the joints up with restraint. Glue with a thin plastic cement in small amounts. The French and British camouflages come out well after a thin primer and even covering coats, ideally with an airbrush. Apply the decals onto a gloss base so that they adhere well in the small format and the edges do not lift.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
