Responsibility details are not available.
The set from Mark I holds, in the small 1:144 scale, two complete injection-molded plastic kits of the British de Havilland Vampire jet aircraft in the FB.5 and FB.52 versions. The 2 in 1 designation means two models in one package. A sheet of waterslide decals with several marking options is included as well. Take the exact package contents from the instructions enclosed.
The de Havilland Vampire was a British jet fighter, the second jet-powered type brought into service with the Royal Air Force. It was marked by the characteristic twin-boom layout, a short fuselage nacelle and a de Havilland Goblin jet engine. The FB.5 version was a fighter-bomber derived from the earlier form, adapted for attacks on ground targets. The FB.52 was the export form delivered to a number of countries. The Vampire served with many air forces around the world and became a widespread machine of the postwar era.
In 1:144 scale work accurately and treat the cleaning up of joints carefully, especially on the thin tail booms. Glue with a thin plastic cement in small amounts. The metal and silvery surfaces of early jets come out well with a fine metallic paint applied over a smooth gloss base. Apply the decals onto a gloss coat so that they adhere well in the small format.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
