The Chevrolet Cruze 1.6T was a circuit touring car racer built to the technical regulations of the world touring car championship of the time, which prescribed a turbocharged engine of 1.6 liter displacement. The car was based on the production sedan body and had a racing chassis, a roll cage and aerodynamic devices. In the championship it was among the most successful machines of its era, and in the 2013 season it was driven by the winner of the drivers' world championship.
