The subject is the Subaru Sambar utility microvan of the TT2 generation in a special anniversary finish with a striking blue body referring to the sporting colors of the brand. The model comes as a set of parts to be assembled and painted.
The Subaru Sambar is a Japanese kei class van with a rear-mounted engine and independent suspension on all four wheels. This limited finish was created to mark an anniversary of the model range and carried a characteristic deep blue color and a number of distinguishing details of equipment. The TT2 version is the newer form of this small but popular van.
Glue the parts with thin plastic cement and sand the joints back carefully before painting. For a faithful blue on the body use a gloss base and an airbrush, and a gloss clear coat under the decals at the end. Glue the glazing last with cyanoacrylate that does not fog clear parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
