The North American P-51B/C Mustang was an American single-seat fighter aircraft of the Second World War with a Merlin V engine. The early B and C versions carried their gun armament housed in the wings. An open gun bay is a popular diorama subject and a technically interesting element of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the inner space and give it a patina before closing it; a fine wash will emphasize the structure.
