The PANZER ART 1:35 British POW Canisters (Commercial set) is a resin set of British two-gallon cans as an accessory for dioramas and models of military equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of British two-gallon cans in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. This is not a model of a vehicle but a set of small accessories that will bring the load of a vehicle, a depot or a diorama to life. A capacity of two gallons comes to roughly nine liters. The POW marking refers to the period commercial set of this kind of container.
During the Second World War the British Army used sheet-metal two-gallon cans for fuel and for water, until they were gradually replaced by a more robust type based on a German design. These containers are a rewarding accessory to British and Allied equipment and to supply scenes.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand them lightly with respiratory protection. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Prime the cans, set the individual pieces apart with shades and wear; rust, scuffs and washes will give them a used look.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
