An injection-molded plastic model of the American attack helicopter AH-64A Apache in its early version, in 1:35 scale. It is a newer tooling with fine surface detail; the package contains plastic sprues, clear cockpit parts, a set of photo-etched parts and a decal sheet. You build one helicopter. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The AH-64 Apache is the main attack helicopter of the US Army. The two-man crew sits in tandem, and the main armament consists of a trainable cannon under the fuselage, guided anti-tank missiles and unguided rockets on underwing pylons. The early AH-64A version represents the original form as it entered service and as it proved itself in a number of conflicts. The machine is known for its toughness and for the strong fire support it gives ground units.
Finish and spray the cockpit interior and the details before you close the fuselage and glue the glazing on. Bond the photo-etched parts with super glue. Lay the base down over a primer, and bring the dark olive scheme to life with gentle highlighting of the edges with a dry brush and a wash into the corners. Dust and mud pigments suit the underside of the fuselage and the landing gear for realistic weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
