British cans for water dated to the year 1942 for 1:35 scale: the supply without which no column could manage.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory for models of Allied equipment and for scenes from a field support area. The water form of the portable container as the dating in the name defines it; the quantity given in the same place is twelve pieces. Behind the offering stands GasPatch models.
In the North African campaign water was rationed per person per day and its transport occupied whole columns. The containers therefore traveled in the same baskets and frames as fuel, only they had to be unmistakably distinguished, so that nobody would pour gasoline into the tea. They served even once their contents were used up, when they became stools, props under a tarpaulin or improvised ballast. On a model they therefore need not lie only neatly lined up.
Choose a different shade for them than for the fuel pieces in the same scene, by all means a noticeably lighter one, and add a short inscription or a stripe. The contrast between two groups of load gives away at once that the builder thought about the contents, not only about the shape. Apply dust from the top down with a weakly thinned earth pigment, so that the sharp edge of the swages stays apparent; water stains around the neck, by contrast, make with a dark glaze shade without gloss. Leave a couple of pieces lying on their side, as if someone had just taken them down from the cargo bed and had not yet lined them up.
