The Jagdpanzer 38(t), nicknamed the Hetzer, was a German light tank destroyer of the Second World War built on the reworked chassis of the Czechoslovak Panzer 38(t) tank. It entered service from the middle of 1944 and, thanks to its low silhouette, the good slope of its armor and its reliability, became one of the main German tank destroyers of the close of the war. It carried a 7.5 cm anti-tank gun in a fixed casemate superstructure and was committed on the Eastern as well as the Western Front.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the interior of the fighting compartment before you close the superstructure. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic. Late-war German vehicles wore a multicolor camouflage of yellow, green and brown, which you apply with an airbrush. Bring out the panel lines and the detail with a wash, and add dust and mud effects in pigment on the tracks and the lower hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
