Street lamps 1:35 are a diorama accessory with two pieces in the package, not a kit of a vehicle. They will set a scene into a town street, a factory yard or by a station ramp.

A set of two street lamps from the Czech maker Hauler, meant for dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of equipment but an element of the setting. A vertical lamp is exceptionally useful in a diorama: it pulls the composition up into height, gives a scene its placing and tells the viewer at once that the action is set in a built-up space.
The street lighting of European towns in the first half of the twentieth century stood on a cast-iron or steel pole with a projecting arm and a sheet-metal shade above the light source. The poles lined streets, squares, factory compounds and stations, and war damage on them tends to be plainly legible - a bent arm, a shattered shade, paint flaked away to the bare metal.
The key is uprightness and firm anchoring. Drill a fine hole into the foot of the pole and glue a piece of brass wire into it, which you then sink into the base - the joint holds far better than gluing flat, and you will not knock the lamp over while handling the diorama. Before painting, check whether the pole is straight and carefully straighten any bow. Spray a base, then a dark metallic or dark green shade; paint the inside of the shade a light cream, so that even an unlit lamp looks as though it is letting light into itself. The weathering on lamps runs from the top down: rust running under the arm, dust and mud at the foot of the pole. Finally go over everything with a matte varnish and leave only the glass glossy.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. A base, glue and paints are not included in the package.
