1:48 Blackburn Buccaneer S.2B - Eduard SPACE

An Eduard SPACE set for the British Blackburn Buccaneer S.2B strike aircraft in 1:48 scale. The SPACE range combines colored three-dimensional elements of the instrument panel and the side consoles, printed on a decal backing paper, with photo-etched steel parts, above all the harness straps of the seats. The colored three-dimensional elements have a raised relief and a realistic look to the dials; they have no adhesive layer of their own.

Use

• With a damp sponge and a drop of dish soap, moisten only the backing paper, lift the element off with tweezers and fix it with PVA glue (white glue).
• The manufacturer does not recommend cyanoacrylate glue, and do not use a decal softener, as it attacks the printed resin.
• Bend the photo-etched steel belts, stick them down with cyanoacrylate glue and fit them onto the seats.
• The colored instruments are pre-printed, so painting the dials falls away.
