The Eduard 1:48 Blenheim Mk.IF seatbelts STEEL set holds seat belts photo-etched from steel and finished in color. Steel holds a bend, so the belts look naturally draped over the seat.

This is an add-on set for the cockpit, not an aircraft kit. It holds seat belts etched from steel and finished in color at the factory. The set is prepared for a model of the Blenheim Mk.IF fighter version in 1:48 scale and replaces belts that a kit either does not hold at all or renders only as a suggested relief on the seat.
Compared with ordinary brass etching, steel is stiffer and, above all, it remembers a shape. A belt can therefore be bent naturally, left hanging over the edge of the seat or draped onto the cockpit floor, and it will stay in that position with nothing propping it up. The color printing covers both the shade of the webbing and the metal fittings, so the belts can be used straight away. An open cockpit thereby gains the detail a viewer notices before anything else.
Cut the parts from the fret with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, and never pull them out. Shape the belts with smooth-jawed tweezers or over the edge of a metal ruler. They are glued with cyanoacrylate in a small amount, ideally the gel kind or applied with the head of a pin. Dose the glue sparingly so that it does not run onto the color printing. The buckles can be given more depth with a dark wash, and once dry the excess is wiped off with a cotton swab.
This is an add-on set, not a model of the aircraft. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
