A detail cockpit set for the F-8E/H Crusader carrier-based fighter in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory replaces the basic interior of a plastic kit with a faithfully detailed cockpit: a cockpit tub, an instrument panel, side consoles and an ejection seat.
The F-8 Crusader is an American single-engine carrier-based fighter. It was marked by its variable-incidence wing and by operations from the decks of aircraft carriers. The E and H versions were among the combat-proven forms of the type.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue. The instrument panel comes into its own once painted; the interior is set off by a gentle wash and a dry brush on the edges.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
