The resin detail set He 219A-7 gun bay in 1:48 scale from Aires. An under-fuselage gun tray for experienced modelers; it is not a model of the airplane.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set, not a model of the airplane. The set brings a faithfully cast under-fuselage gun tray of the German night fighter the Heinkel He 219 Uhu in the A-7 version. It captures the internal structure of the gun bay with the mounting of the cannons and the fitting out of the space. It replaces the simplified plastic in a kit in 1:48 scale and makes it possible to build the model with the gun tray open.
The Heinkel He 219 Uhu (eagle owl) was a German twin-engined night fighter of the Second World War with a nosewheel undercarriage and radar. Its armament consisted of cannons mounted, among other places, in an under-fuselage gun tray. It was one of the most capable German night fighters, although it reached service only in limited numbers.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and rid them of mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off carefully with a saw and level the surfaces; wear a respirator when sanding resin, as the dust is harmful to health. They are glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with ordinary cement for plastic. Apply a base primer before painting.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
