Turned metal barrels for the Japanese Type 97 aircraft machine gun of 7.7 mm caliber in 1:48 scale – two pieces from the MASTER brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of two turned metal barrels for the Japanese Type 97 aircraft machine gun of 7.7 mm caliber in 1:48 scale. The Polish manufacturer MASTER turns the barrels from metal with a faithful geometry and a drilled-out muzzle, replacing coarser plastic moldings. The parts are intended for detailing Japanese aircraft of the Second World War that carried this weapon.
The Type 97 of 7.7 mm caliber was a Japanese aircraft machine gun used on a number of Japanese aircraft of the Second World War, among other things as the fuselage armament of fighters. It was a widespread weapon of lighter caliber whose thin barrels easily lose their correct shape and fineness on plastic models.
Cut off the plastic barrels from the kit and replace them with the metal ones, glued in with cyanoacrylate. Mind the alignment and the correct seating in the gun cover. The metal surface holds paint once primed; move fine parts with tweezers.
This is not a model but a metal accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
