A detail set of the Martin-Baker Mk H7 ejection seats for the F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Aires. The resin accessory replaces the simplified seats from a plastic kit with faithfully detailed parts with crisply rendered harness, handles and mechanisms. Given the two-seat subject, the set as a rule holds seats for both stations.
The F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat multirole combat aircraft, one of the most widespread fighters of its era. The crew sat in tandem, one behind the other, and was provided with Martin-Baker ejection seats.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. The seats come into their own once painted in base shades, with the harness picked out and a gentle wash applied.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
