A set of four resin 3D-printed GBU-62 guided bombs with extended range in 1:48 scale from the maker Reskit. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for fitting a model's pylons with modern precision munitions.
The GBU-62 comes from the JDAM family of guided bombs supplemented by a deployable wing kit (Extended Range), which turns a classic bomb into glide munitions with a markedly longer reach. It uses combined guidance and is carried by a number of modern combat aircraft.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, separate them from the print supports and clean up the surfaces. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Fit the wings and the tail surfaces carefully. Lay down a primer before painting; protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
