A resin accessory from Aires for 1:48 scale. This is not an airplane model but an aftermarket set that holds finely cast resin wheels with a realistic tread pattern and hub, together with masking film that makes clean painting of the tires and the rims easier.
The Macchi C.202 Folgore and the C.205 Veltro that followed it were Italian fighters with a V12 engine deployed during the Second World War. They were among the most capable Italian fighters of their day.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels and cut off the casting blocks, then bond with super glue. Stick the masking film onto the tire or the rim, spray over it with the matching color and peel it off carefully once dry. The wheels can be treated with slight sagging for the impression of load.
The plastic kit itself and paints are not included in the package.
