About product

Yahu Models Me 110 C/D - instrument panel (1:48)

This is a finished, pre-formed and painted instrument panel, not a model. The panel is etched metal with color printing and glossy dials that faithfully imitate the glazing of the instruments. You fit it straight into the cockpit with no need for spraying or dry-transferring the individual instruments.

The real subject

The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a German twin-engine heavy fighter of the Second World War; the C and D versions were used in the fighter as well as the fighter-bomber role. The roomy cockpit with its richly divided instrument panel offers an ideal opportunity to use a finished color panel.

Use and tips

Take the panel carefully out of the fret, assemble the individual layers according to the instructions if need be and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Fit it in place of the original plastic or photo-etched panel. The glossy dials stand out on their own; for depth the instruments can be completed with a drop of gloss varnish imitating glass.

Who the set is for

  • Builders of the Bf 110 C/D in 1:48 scale
  • Modelers who want a faithful cockpit without laborious painting of the dials
  • Those who prefer finished panels ready to fit
  • The maker of the accessory: Yahu Models (Poland)

This is a finished instrument panel, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
