A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand, made by Aires, intended to complete the plastic kit of the MiG-21PFM fighter in 1:48 scale. It represents the GP-9 underfuselage cannon pod with the twin-barrel 23 mm GSh-23 cannon that the aircraft carried on its centerline pylon.
The MiG-21PFM had no built-in cannon. For gun armament a GP-9 pod with the twin-barrel GSh-23 cannon was hung under the fuselage, carried on the centerline pylon in place of a drop tank.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Fit the pod to the centerline pylon according to the real configuration.
This is an accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The kit itself is not included in the package.
