A complete set of decals with a faithfully drawn carbon fiber weave from the Scale Motorsport brand, which has long specialized in imitations of composite materials. This is not a kit - the set is intended for the so-called full carbon jacket of a model of the racing Corvette C7.R in 1:25 scale, that is for covering the surfaces that are made of carbon composite on the real car.
The Corvette C7.R is the racing version of the seventh generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, campaigned in endurance races of the GT category including the famous 24-hour race at Le Mans. The body and a whole range of other parts of the racing machine are made of carbon composites, whose characteristic weave is clearly visible on the car - and it is precisely this effect that the set imitates faithfully.
Apply the decals onto a smooth, ideally glossy surface. Divide larger areas into smaller sections, work with plenty of water and press the air bubbles out toward the edges with a soft cloth. On shaped parts a decal softener and careful warming will help. Once everything has dried perfectly, varnish the surface - a gloss coat will underline the depth of the carbon weave, a satin one will give the technical look of a racing machine.
The set contains decals only - the kit of the car, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
