The set brings a finely rendered cockpit interior for a model of the Soviet Mikoyan MiG-21PFM fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a resin accessory with pre-painted photo-etched parts, with which you take the detail of the cockpit above the level of the plastic parts. The set is made by the Czech maker Eduard.
The MiG-21PFM was one of the widespread interceptor versions of the legendary Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 supersonic fighter. It was notable for its fixed windscreen and a canopy hinged to the side, a radar in the cone of the intake and missile armament. Machines of this type served in dozens of countries around the world.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and separate them from the casting blocks. Bond with super glue and bend the photo-etched parts over a ruler. The pre-painted etched parts speed up the detailing of the panels; paint the resin parts with an airbrush and a wash will deepen the detail. Check everything dry before closing the fuselage. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
