A faithfully cast tire tread and detailed rims replace the simplified plastic parts of a kit. It is an aftermarket accessory for detailing, not a kit in its own right. It is based on the dimensions of the Tamiya or Supermodel kits.
The Opel Blitz was the most widespread German truck of the Second World War, used on all fronts to carry men and material and also as a chassis for a range of special bodies. Good wheels with a faithful tread improve the overall impression of a finished model markedly.
Wash the resin wheels free of release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean up the contact surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The wheels can easily be made to look loaded by lightly sanding the bottom surface for the effect of a compressed tire. Suitable for less experienced modelers too.
This is an accessory for a build; the model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
